What does the Court of Protection Do?

The Court of Protection oversees the administration of the finances of people who are mentally incapable of doing so themselves. A Receiver is appointed by the Courts. This can be a relative, friend or solicitor.

The Receiver then deals with all financial matters on behalf of the patient under the supervision of the Court,

The process can be complex and daunting but Carol can guide you through the necessary steps.
